Situation: A series of weak fronts continue to move across the area today, followed by a ridge this weekend. A series of active fronts move across the area from the Tasman on Monday and Tuesday.

Forecast: Strong wind advisory. Friday: Northwest 25 knots gusting 35 knots, changing westerly 20 knots this afternoon, then easing to 15 knots this evening. Rough sea, easing this afternoon. Poor visibility in rain, with possible thunderstorms, clearing by evening. Saturday: Westerly easing to 10 knots in the morning, changing southerly 10 knots in the evening. Sea slight. Fair visibility in a few showers, possibly heavy, gradually clearing.

Outlook: Outlook until midnight Tuesday: Sunday: Variable 5 knots. Northerly 10 knots developing late. Fine. Monday: Rising to northeast 15 knots early, turning northwest 15 knots late.Rain, possibly heavy. Tuesday: Northwest rising to 20 knots. Periods of rain, possibly heavy.
