Becoming southwest 10 knots west of Motiti Island late evening. Sea slight. Fine spells. Fair visibility in a few showers from afternoon. Saturday: Northerly 10 knots but southwest 10 knots in the west, easing to variable 5 knots in the east during the morning. Becoming northerly 10 knots everywhere in the afternoon. Sea slight. Partly cloudy. Poor visibility in a few showers, possibly heavy, easing in the afternoon.
