Forecast: Strong Wind Advisory. Saturday: Westerly 20 knots, rising to 25 knots gusting 35 knots west of Motiti Island this afternoon then easing to 15 knots everywhere late evening. Sea becoming rough in the west for a time. Fine spells. Sunday: Westerly 15 knots turning northwest 20 knots in the morning then easing to westerly 15 knots late evening. Sea becoming moderate for a time in the morning. Fair visibility in afternoon rain.
