show full reporthide full reportUpdated: 2:13pm Friday 23 Aug 2019 - We have had yet another 10-15 cm's of fresh snow overnight!! Presently... we have light snow showers and poor visibility. The Happy Valley beginners area, Sky Waka and the Rangatira are OPEN. The Sky Waka will only be open to access for sightseeing and not for skiing and boarding due to zero visibility. This decision is now final as of 2pm. All other upper mountain lifts are now CLOSED for the day due to the poor weather conditions.
